About DRAXLER TRANSPORT, INC

Marty Draxler and his father, Karl, founded Draxler Transport, Inc. on June 15, 1989. They started hauling wood veneer to the west coast with two trucks. Draxler has grown significantly over the years by building a new office and dispatch center in 2001 and a new shop in 2005. The state of the art shop has three working bays, a wash bay, loading docks and is staffed by our own mechanics. Draxler Transport has grown substantially over the years by adding office staff, drivers, owner operators, and mechanics. Today they operate over forty trucks and over one hundred fifty trailers making deliveries in all forty eight states.

Like everyone else these days we are concerned about fuel economy and are as proactive as possible to reduce fuel consumption. Some of the steps that we are taking include installing Auxiliary Power Units, staying under six % idle time and constant ECM downloading to monitor the trucks performance.

Marty and Karl focus on driver retention by purchasing trucks with driver comfort and convenience features. Their fleet consists of late model trucks that are engineered for comfort of the driver, are easily serviced and are aerodynamic.

Marty and his wife Cindy have four children: Matt, Tiff, Josh and Marissa. Karl and his wife Kitty also have four children: Marty, Glenn, Maria and Cherie.
